BIOGRAPHY

Elizabeth Wells, MD, serves in a number of roles focused on safety, quality and research at Children’s National Hospital, including: medical director and president of Inpatient Neurology at Children’s National Hospital; pediatric neurologist in the Brain Tumor Institute; director of Neuroinflammatory Disease Clinical Research Program; and associate director of the CTSI-CN Patient and Clinical Interactions (PCI) Program. Additionally, she serves as associate professor of Neurology and Pediatrics at GWU School of Medicine and Health Sciences and holds leadership roles in the International Child Neurology Society and Autoimmune Encephalitis Alliance.

Dr. Wells received her AB from Harvard University, her MHS from Duke University, her MD from George Washington University and completed her residency and fellowship at Children’s National Hospital.
