BIOGRAPHY
Aldwin Lindsay, M.B.A., was named executive vice president and chief financial officer at Children’s National Hospital after serving in the role in an interim capacity. He brings almost 27 years of experience in healthcare finance to the role. He led development of the first value-based contract executed under the Clinically Integrated Network. He coordinated the adoption of a new decision support tool that will improve internal reporting, data storage, analytics and payor contract valuations, and he enhanced cost and regulatory reporting structures. Lindsay was originally recruited to Children’s National in October 2015 from Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., where he served as chief financial officer. He came to Children’s National as the reimbursement officer and within six months was asked to be the interim controller and very shortly thereafter became vice president of Payor Financial Relations. He is a member of the D.C. Hospital Association’s Government Regulatory and Financial Policy Committee as well as the regional chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Maryland College Park and his M.B.A. in 2012 from the University of Maryland University College.
