BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Leah Brasch is a founding partner of Friendship Pediatrics in Chevy Chase, Maryland. She received her medical degree from University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver and has been in practice for more than 30 years. She completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center, where she eventually rose to chief resident. Before going into private practice, Dr. Brasch worked as a civilian pediatrician for the US Army in Seoul Korea for a year and then as full time faculty at GPAC at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center. She holds an appointment of Clinical Associate Professor at George Washington Medical School. Dr. Brasch has been a Board Certified Pediatrician since 1985 and voluntarily took and passed the Maintenance of Certification exam in 2010. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and active in the Montgomery County Pediatric Society.
