Doctor’s Note: April Newsletter Introduction from Dr. Eduardo Fox

Dear Pediatric Health Network colleagues,

Spring is shaping up to be a busy season, and we have a host of exciting upcoming events for you to consider. These events offer opportunities for us to learn, grow, and connect and improve the care we provide to our patients. I look forward to joining many of you at the Future of Pediatrics conference on May 16^th. Other highlights include behavioral health webinars and office hours and a kickoff of our Practice Administrator Group (PAG) meetups, and more. Take a look at what’s on the horizon and see how it might fit into your schedule.

As many of you have heard, we are focusing this year on collaborative care for our patients with families, primary care providers, specialists, and care teams all partnering together to improve care and outcomes. A number of practices are piloting co-management strategies for common conditions including constipation, headache, and behavioral health conditions. We’re also working with various stakeholders to identify and develop clinical support tools with the goals of promoting evidence-based and equitable care and creating greater efficiency in providing it.
