Doctor’s Note: January Newsletter Introduction from Dr. Mark Weissman

Happy New Year!  As we enter 2023 we have an opportunity to ensure our new “normal” is grounded in community connections and shared work. I encourage our pediatrician community to work together – with the Pediatric Health Network, AAP, and community partners – to ensure we are best serving our children, community, and our community practices. So please join us IN-PERSON for our 25th Annual Business of Pediatrics CME conference – for pediatricians and practice managers. We will be gathering as a community on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the Marriott North Bethesda Hotel and Conference Center (8:30 am- 4:30 pm).  (We will record the sessions for later online viewing, but we are not live-streaming. We want to “get the band back together.”) Our BOP sessions will offer practical tips and best practices on the challenges our practices continue to face, including presentations on Post-COVID Pediatric Practice Benchmarking, Provider and Practice Wellness and Retention, Next Steps for Telemedicine, an AAP Update from Dr. Sandy Chung, AAP President, and more. Remember, this is a free CME conference for attendees but please make sure to register each attendee and guest, regardless of your role or title, so we have an accurate headcount.

I personally cannot wait to see many of you, for the first time in a while, back together in person on January 12!
