BIOGRAPHY

Rahul Shah, M.D., MBA, serves as Vice President, Chief Quality and Safety Officer at Children’s National Hospital. In this position, Dr. Shah is responsible for the leadership and oversight of patient safety, quality improvement, accreditation/licensure and patient care policies. He collaborates with medical staff in advancing the outcomes of care.

Dr. Shah is recognized as a leader in patient safety and quality improvement within otolaryngology and is active within the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery with these initiatives. His clinical interests include the broad realm of pediatric otolaryngology. His interests include pediatric voice disorders, resource utilization and outcomes, and medical errors.

Dr. Shah is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology and Pediatrics at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
