Dear PHN Friends and Colleagues,

School has started and we’re all gearing up for a busy fall!  Here are some exciting updates and upcoming events from your Pediatric Health Network.

First, register now for our 27th annual Business of Pediatrics CME conference on December 12, 2024.  Close to 300 pediatricians and office managers will join us at the Marriott North Bethesda Conference Center, and it’s always a great opportunity to reconnect and learn together. Be sure to mark your calendars and adjust your practice schedules now— more information will be coming your way soon!

Our Pediatric Health Network has added three new members to our Board of Directors.  They are recognized leaders in our community and will serve our network and membership well. See their profiles in the newsletter.

Additionally, we are cohosting a Virtual Lunch and Learn together with Children’s National specialists, and I’d love for you to join. More information and registration links are in this newsletter and on our website. Also, on November 13 at noon, the PHN Behavioral Health Initiative will be hosting a webinar on Disordered Eating Behaviors 2.0Learn more here.

The Children’s National Hospital Community Mental Health CORE invites pediatric primary care providers and integrated mental health providers to complete a survey. The first 250 participants will receive a $20 gift card. Read more in this newsletter, and here’s the link to get started

And finally, the annual U.S. News & World Report Honor Roll of top children’s hospitals is out and Children’s National Hospital is again recognized as one of our country’s top children’s hospitals!

As you can see, there’s a lot going on with PHN, so keep an eye on our newsletter for more updates, resources, and news to help you and your practices stay informed and successful. Thanks so much for all the great work you do. I look forward to seeing many of you at these events and continuing to work together!
