Update from Children’s National Hospital

I want to share an important update directly with you. After more than a decade of partnership through Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV), Children’s National and Inova Children’s have decided to end the PSV partnership in late June 2027, consistent with our joint agreement.

We are proud of what this partnership has made possible for children and families in Northern Virginia. As we look ahead, this next chapter supports our strategic plan and our long-term commitment to the region. We see it as an opportunity to continue expanding access to the highest quality pediatric specialty care closer to home.

Children’s National remains deeply committed to Northern Virginia, and when PSV closes next year, Hamaker Court will become our flagship location in the region.

As the region’s only standalone pediatric hospital, we bring a distinct level of pediatric expertise, supported by nationally ranked specialty programs and a singular focus on caring for children.

Our immediate focus is on ensuring a smooth transition for patients, families, referring providers, staff and providers, while continuing to work with partners across the region in ways that best support children and families.
