DEA License Renewal Course List
Summary
On December 29, 2022, the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 enacted a new one-time, eight-hour training requirement for all Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)-registered practitioners on the treatment and management of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders. See below for a helpful list of qualifying courses.

As most of you are aware, on December 29, 2022, the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 enacted a new one-time, eight-hour training requirement for all Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)-registered practitioners on the treatment and management of patients with opioid or other substance use disorders. The new requirement will begin on June 27, 2023. The eight-hour requirement may be broken up across multiple courses. View the DEA’s document for more details.
Below is a list of qualifying courses. This list is not comprehensive, but we are providing this as a resource to assist you in fulfilling this requirement.
