FAQ

Do practices have to be PCMH-certified to participate? How does PHN align with PCMH certification?

While our pediatric CIN supports and promotes the principles of a medical home, the Pediatric Health Network’s quality initiatives will not be specifically focused on PCMH certification. Physician-led committees will collaboratively recommend best practices for members. Best practices may be based on national quality programs and benchmarks defined by organizations like NCQA. For the Pediatric Health Network, they will serve as standards for members to benchmark and improve individual and practice performance. To help practices meet these transformative goals, the Pediatric Health Network will provide staff support, physician-to-physician coaching, collaborative education and quality improvement programs, and other activities as defined by network committees.
