Dr. Sandy Chung Voted AAP President-Elect

Sandy L. Chung, M.D., FAAP, of Fairfax, Va., who serves as PHN Medical Director and Board Member, has been voted AAP president-elect.

Sandy L. Chung, M.D., FAAP, of Fairfax, Va., has been voted AAP president-elect. Dr. Chung also serves as PHN Medical Director and Board Member.

Dr. Chung will take over as president on Jan. 1, 2023, following Moira A. Szilagyi, M.D., Ph.D., FAAP, of Marina Del Rey, Calif., who will serve as president in 2022.

Results for additional AAP national offices are posted on the AAP website here. Those elected will take office on Jan. 1, 2022. Of eligible voters, 13.5% cast votes in the AAP election.
