A Special PHN Webinar: Implementing Successful Telemedicine and Telephonic Visits During the COVID-19 Pandemic
Summary
Our PHN hosted a webinar on Friday March 20th on the use of telemedicine and telephonic visits. These are two strategies that can be used to evaluate patients with mild illness and/or potential exposure to COVID-19 or re-position care of healthy patients.
The webinar provided updates on deploying telemedicine, providing telephonic visits and billing for both telemedicine and telephonic visits. Presenters included PHN colleagues who are already using these tools.
