BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Benjamin Martin completed his education at Georgetown by attending medical school and completing a residency in orthopaedic surgery there. After 13 years at Georgetown, Dr. Martin moved to Dallas for a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery and scoliosis at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. He joined Children’s National Health System in 2011. Dr. Martin’s clinical interests include scoliosis, spinal deformities and hip conditions such as Perthes, hip dysplasia and developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH). He is a member of the International Perthes Study Group which is focused on improving the care of patients with Perthes disease. At Children’s National, Dr. Martin is dedicated to improving care delivery through his various committee work and leadership roles.
