Practice Administrator Group

The Practice Administrators Group (PAG) brings together pediatric practice managers, office administrators and operational leaders from across the Washington, D.C., metropolitan region to share solutions, strengthen practice operations and stay informed about important updates affecting community pediatric care.

What are the goals of the Practice Administrators Group?

Information sharing and collaboration among healthcare practice administrators are the cornerstones of PAG. Hosted by Children’s National Hospital, PAG serves as a forum where administrators can learn from peers, access subject-matter experts and discuss practical strategies for improving workflow, staffing, billing, access and the patient-family experience.

PAG sessions feature timely presentations on topics such as:

  • Regulatory and payer updates
  • Operational best practices
  • Technology and electronic health record (EHR) optimization
  • Revenue cycle, coding and billing
  • Practice management challenges and innovations
  • Children’s National specialty care updates and referral processes

When does the Practice Administrators Group meet?

PAG offers monthly virtual Coffee & Conversation meetings for open discussion, practical problem-solving and real-time updates. Coffee & Conversation is held at 8 a.m. on the last Tuesday of each month. Sign up to attend via our form here.

In addition, we host annual in-person meetings featuring guest speakers, hands-on learning opportunities and roundtable discussions where administrators can share real-world insights and best practices. These sessions are open to administrators from both independent practices and larger pediatric groups.
