FAQ

What does participation require?

Pediatric Health Network membership is an active membership that requires practices to dedicate time and effort towards achieving shared goals. The Pediatric Health Network is designed to preserve the independent community practice model through the transition to value-based care. Participation does not require any change in ownership, tax identification numbers or the like. Member practices are expected to:

  • Actively participate in the Pediatric Health Network’s clinical and quality improvement initiatives (which includes, at a minimum, one meeting each quarter)
  • Exchange data from the practice’s EMR with the network
  • Adhere to Pediatric Health Network Board-approved policies
  • Participate in the Pediatric Health Network’s payor contracts within some opt out provisions

Once the membership process is complete, Pediatric Health Network staff will help onboard a new practice and facilitate active participation, including implementing technology solutions and providing information on clinical and quality initiatives.
