Happy New Year to our PHN members! We’re thrilled so many of you attended our 26th annual Business of Pediatrics program in December.   This year’s program featured practice management all-stars Chip Hart, Paul Vanchiere, Jan Blanchard – and a special presentation by our own Dr. Sandy Chung, local pediatrician-leader and President of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Sandy highlighted AAP challenges and advocacy for children and pediatricians and looked ahead to the effect of artificial intelligence (AI) on all of us. If you missed this year’s program, you can view the presentations and get CME credit through 3/31/24 on our website here.

Our Pediatric Health Network continues to advance. We now number over 600 primary care providers. Our PHN has undergone a formal legal review of our program and operations by external counsel attesting that we meet legal criteria to negotiate with payers as a “clinically integrated network” (CIN). This reflects the tremendous ongoing work that our practices, practice leaders and our PHN teams – quality, data, and contracting – are doing. There’s more work ahead in 2024.

We look forward to shared success together!

Sincerely,
Mark Weissman, M.D.
