The Rankings Are In!
Summary
Children’s National Hospital was nationally ranked No. 5 in the U.S. News & World Report 2022-23 Best Children’s Hospitals annual rankings.
Children’s National Hospital was nationally ranked No. 5 in the U.S. News & World Report 2022-23 Best Children’s Hospitals annual rankings.
In addition to being ranked fifth overall, we are No. 1 in the nation for neonatology. This is the sixth year in a row in this top spot. And for the second year, our Neurology and Neurosurgery program was ranked best in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Altogether, we had seven specialties that ranked within the top ten in the nation:
- Neonatology (No. 1)
- Neurology and Neurosurgery (No. 3)
- Cancer (No. 6)
- Nephrology (No. 5)
- Orthopedics (No. 7)
- Pulmonology and Lung Surgery (No. 8) tie
- Diabetes and Endocrinology (No. 8)
Cardiology and heart surgery, gastroenterology and gastro-intestinal surgery, and urology, all ranked among the top 50, making this the 12th year we ranked in every specialty assessed by U.S. News.
