Dear PHN community,
The Future is bright! Thanks to all of you who participated- in person or online- at this year’s Future of Pediatrics annual CME program. We are grateful to our expert speakers, panelists, and everyone on the PHN team who helped make the event possible. Please remember to claim 2022 Back to the Future of Pediatrics CME credits for the sessions you attended. All of the presentation resources and recordings will be available on our website. We hope that next year’s Future of Pediatrics permits even more of us to re-connect and participate in person. We’ve also begun planning our December 2022 Business of Pediatrics program- send us your suggestions for content and topics. Thank you for supporting our pediatric community!
Also, we’re excited and proud to report that Children’s National Hospital was named No. 5 in the U.S. News & World Report 2022-23 Best Children’s Hospitals annual rankings. Additionally, Children’s National is No. 1 in the nation for neonatology for the sixth year in a row! And for the second year, the Neurology and Neurosurgery program was ranked best in the Mid-Atlantic region. Altogether, Children’s National has seven specialties that ranked within the top ten in the nation. It’s wonderful for us that our patients, families, and our pediatric practices have a top-rated children’s hospital right here in our community.
Please take a look at our June newsletter for a few upcoming events and announcements, and have a wonderful and safe summer!
All the best,
Mark Weissman, M.D.
