Dear PHN Community,

As we approach the final quarter of the year, we have some exciting developments and opportunities to share with you in our monthly newsletter. As your commitment to providing the best care for our pediatric patients remains unwavering, we at PHN are constantly seeking ways to enhance our services and support our dedicated providers.

Be a Voice for Pediatric Behavioral Health: Join Our Regional Practice Advisory Group

At PHN, we understand the critical importance of addressing the mental health needs of our pediatric population. That’s why we’re inviting you to join our Behavioral Health Initiative’s Regional Partner Advisory Group. This is a unique opportunity for you to actively shape and influence projects aimed at enhancing the mental well-being of the children under your care.

Your insights, experiences, and perspectives are invaluable in this endeavor. Together, we can develop initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of patients and their families. If you’re passionate about pediatric mental health and want to make a positive impact, we urge you to become part of this advisory group. This is also an excellent opportunity to build your professional CV with advocacy and service to the community.

VMAP ECHO: Expanding Horizons in Pediatric Care

One of the key initiatives we’d like to highlight this month is an opportunity to participate with the Virginia Mental Health Access Program (VMAP) and their ECHO program. VMAP ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is a groundbreaking initiative that connects providers from across Virginia to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices in pediatric mental health care. By participating in VMAP ECHO, you can tap into a wealth of resources and learn from experts in the field, ultimately improving the care you provide to your young patients.

We strongly encourage all providers licensed in Virginia to explore the VMAP ECHO program. You can find more information and sign up for sessions on their website: VMAP ECHO.

Save the Date: Business of Pediatrics Conference

Lastly, we’d like to remind you to save the date for the upcoming Business of Pediatrics Conference, which will take place on December 14. This event promises to be an informative and engaging opportunity to network with peers, gain insights into pediatric healthcare trends, and explore strategies to optimize your practice. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for further details about this exciting event!

Thank you for your unwavering dedication to the well-being of our youngest patients. Together, we can continue to provide exceptional care and drive positive change in pediatric healthcare.

Warm regards,
Lee Beers, M.D.
